Born to Daniel Harvey Palmer (1859-1953) & Violet Zimrude Norton Palmer (1871-1957).

Walter married Winnie Fay Sellers (1905-2001) about 1930. One son, Lofton Elgin Palmer (10/20/1932-after 2010). Winnie had a son, Arthur Roscoe Adams (1926-1997), from her first marriage to A.E. Adams.

Walter & Winnie divorced before 1942 and she remarried. Walter is buried in Fairview Cemetery with his parents.

Walter H. Palmer
RIVIERA -- Funeral services were to be at 2 p.m. today in Piper Funeral Chapel in Kingsville for Walter Harvey Palmer, 73, who died yesterday after a long illness. Burial was to be in Chamberlain Burial Park in Kingsville.

Formerly of Corpus Christi, Palmer moved to Riviera 20 years ago.

Among his survivors are a son, Lofton E. Palmer, and a stepson, Arthur Adams, both of Corpus Christi. Others surviving are his wife; another stepson, Buster Love of Riviera; three brothers, John Palmer of Colorado City, Albert Palmer of Robert Lee and Bill Palmer of San Angelo; three sisters, Mrs. Lula Walker and Mrs. Zelma Brooks, both of Robert Lee; and Mrs. Cora Kennedy of Plains; and five grandchildren.PFC SCH DEMON BN 2 CORPS
