She was a daughter of the late Samuel E. and Sadie (Brenneman) Baublitz.
Geraldine was well known for playing the mandolin and guitar in two local country western bands, Jerry & The Beliners and The Range Riders, playing throughout York and Adams counties.
She was the wife of E. Charles Strausbaugh, who departed this life April 29, 1999, and is survived by one son, Wayne E. Crites, Sr. of Thomasville; two sisters, Mary Hoff of Spring Grove, and Anna Brown of Hanover; one brother, Lewis "Bud" Wilt of Hanover; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
