Mrs. Slagle was the daughter of the late John W. and Annie L. Watson Dickerson.
For many years she worked for Vita Foods and retired in 1964.
She was a member of Kent County Homemakers and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Frank M. Jarman American Legion Post 36.
She was the Gold Star Mother of her son, Leonard P. Slagle, missing in action in the Korean Conflict in 1951.
Her husband, Charles P. Slagle, died in 1963.
She is survived by two sons, Charles W. Slagle of Chestertown and John Leslie Slagle of St. George's, DE; two daughters, Alice R. Crouch and Thelma S. Legg, both of Chestertown; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2pm Friday in Willis Wells Funeral Home, High Street, Chestertown, where friends may call an hour before the service.
Burial will be in Chester Cemetery, Chestertown.
