Gladwin County Recorder; 28 Aug 1903:
Washington Schell, of Detroit, met his death 19 Aug, by falling from the sixth story of the Lenox apartment bldg, on which he was working. The cause of the accident will probably never be known.

Born in Sanilac county 1847, then to Lapeer county, living a few years in Kansas, engaged in trade of stone cutting.

Wife and 2 children.

Funeral in Detroit, body taken to Attica, Lapeer Co, for burial.

Relatives present were Mr. and Mrs. David Schell of Oxford; G A Schell and son Lafayette of Arwadod; Mr. and Mrs. William Brazy of Port Huron; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Moran of Kelsey; John Spring of Pontiac; Hugh McIntyre of Toledo, and D Schell of East Greenwood.
