BOONEVILLE – Jasper Maness, 62, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2003, at his home after a long illness. He was a retired factory worker and a Baptist. He enjoyed playing music and fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Santina Woolum Maness.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Pete McCoy officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include two daughters, Ola Faye Carter and husband, Ray, and Jackie Moorman and husband, Jerry Dale, all of Booneville; two sisters, Mildred Downs and husband, Joe, and Margie Hatfield, all of Booneville; a brother, James Maness of Tupelo; a sister-in-law, Fannie Wiggins of Booneville; two brothers-in-law, Woodrow Woolum and wife, Rosie, of Booneville, and Earl Woolum of Roselle, Ill.; two grandsons, Dillon Carter and Dalton Carter; a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ken Woolum, Dwight Thornton, Dillon Carter, Richey Hatfield, Mitchell Hatfield and Chad Hatfield.

Visitation will continue until service time today.
