GLENMONT, N.Y. - Joan (Murray) Smith Baker, age 56, of Glenmont, passed away on Saturday, January 1st 2005 at the Schuyler Ridge Health Center in Clifton Park, N.Y.
He was born on October 14th 1948 in Albany, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Gilford and Virginia (Prior) Murray.
Joan was a graduate of Bethlehem Central High School and the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing.
She had a love for the seashore, the Adirondacks, flowers and gardening. Joan enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandson.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one son; Kevin Michael Smith.
She is survived by one son, one daughter, one daughter-in-law, one grandson, three sisters, three brothers, five nieces, two nephews, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
