Mt. Savage, Md., Dec. 6.
Mrs. Patrick O'Connor Dead.
Mrs. Jane O'Connor, aged 78 years, wife of Patrick O'Connor, died suddenly yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock of a hemorrhage of the lungs. Mrs. O'Connor stricken while walking in the kitchen and previous to this had not complained of feeling ill, although she suffered from a severe cold for the past year. She died within a few minutes. Mrs. O'Connor possessed a sweet, affable disposition. Her sudden death is a great shock to the entire community. She was a devout member of St Patrick's Catholic Church and only last Sunday, Mrs O'Connor occupied her seat in that church at high mass. The funeral will be held Friday morning at 8 o'clock with a high mass of requiem at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Mrs O'Connor is survived by her husband, two sons, Dr Edward O'Connor, Portage, Pa and Thomas O'Connor, Baltimore and four daughters, Mrs John Noonan, Misses Jennie, Mary and Loretta O'Connor, at home. Eleven grandchildren also survive and one brother, James Stephens and two sisters, Mrs Adelaide Gallagher and Mrs Annie Snyder.
