Services were held at 1:30 P.M. Staturday at Marshall and Gren Chapel for George Tuinstra, age 65, of Shelbyville, Route 1. who passed away Wednesday noon at his home. Rev. Arthur Schoonveld officiated with interment in East Martin Cemetery. He was born October 8, 1902 in Cook Co., Ill., son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Tuinstra. He was a member of the East Martin Christian Reformed Church. Surviving are his wife, Jennie, one son, Henry of Cincinnati, Ohio, 4 daughters, Mrs. Fanny Vander Jagt of Grand Haven. Mrs. Margaret Beattie of Saranac. Mrs. Elaine Holmes of Holland and Linda at home, 8 grandchildren, 6 brothers, Peter and Hilbert of Martin, Fred of Kalamazoo, Henry and Bert of Shelbyville, Richard of Zeeland; 4 sisters, Mrs. Grace Boss of Plainwell, Mrs. Lillian Lodenstein of Hopkins, Mrs. Reka Mendendorp of Shelbyville and Mrs. Bertha Lynema of Martin.
