Born February 17, 1924, Pollyann passed away June 18, 2014. She lived in Sacramento and Roseville for the past 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Burris and Frank Fiser and her son Ron Burris. She is survived by her daughter, Connie Knab, daughter-in-law, Suzann Burris, grandchildren, Tal Knab, Sheryl Knab, Cindy Grush and Jack Burris. The six great-grandchildren are Misty Meadows, Rachel and Stephanie Knab, Kevin Grush, Logan Knab, and Cole Burris.
Pollyann is known and loved for her friendly smile, perky personality and penchant to party. She enjoyed time spent with family and friends, playing golf and helping in charities. Those activities included membership in Sierra View County Club, Beta Sigma Phi, Cancer League, Roseville Newcomers and volunteer service at the Hospice Thrift Store in Roseville.
The family expresses appreciation to the nurses and aides from Roseville Sutter Hospice for their compassionate and competent care during the last 6 weeks of Pollyann's journey.
