Eulis S. Parker, 99, of OKC, went to be with the Lord June 17, 2014. He was born on Feb. 7, 1915 in Springer, OK. He was one of 11 siblings.

He was married to Willie Pearl Parker for 58 loving years until her passing in 1996.

He attended Springer HS. He served in the Navy as a radar operator during WW II.

His primary profession was with the US Postal Service, retiring after 29 years. Eulis had a tireless work ethic beyond his retirement. He held many occupations including: ticket taker for the Civic Center and State Fair, Bank Courier and as a Walmart Greeter for several years until he was 93.

Longtime member of Linwood Methodist Church and a current member of New Hope United Methodist Church. He was always quick to help others. He will be remembered as a kind and generous man, having the respect of all who knew him.

Eulis is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Don and Cheri Parker, granddaughter, Donna Gibbins and her husband Paul, grandson, Chris W. Parker, and grandson, Chris J. Parker and wife Stacy, great grandchildren, Samantha Jackson and husband Teddy, Paige Parker, Kendall Parker, Jade Schultz, Reagan Oltmanns and Preston Parker.

A special thank you to Sandi Morgan for being a faithful family friend. Service to be held Friday, June 20, 2014, 10 a.m. at New Hope United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to: New Hope UMC Food Pantry, 11600 N. Council Rd., OKC 73162.
