Mrs. Doris Berry, 82, of LaFayette, died at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 20, 2014 at LaFayette Church of Christ at 2:00 p.m. CST with Minister Gerald Romine officiating. Burial will be at the LaFayette City Cemetery. Mrs. Berry is survived by her husband, George (Red) Berry; two daughters, Hilda (Bruce) Lott of Valley; Dawn (John) Sims of Mobile; two sisters, Laverne McNair of Valley; Gladys Bonner of Donalsonville, GA.; two grandchildren, Travis Sims and Taylor Lott; nieces and nephews. Mrs Berry was born in Chambers County on September 3, 1931. She was a member of LaFayette Church of Christ in LaFayette. She was retired from Playtex and later retired from the Chambers County Board of Education as a Teacher's Aide at Eastside School.
