He grew up and graduated from Ouachita High School and came to Little Rock and met his wife-to-be, Myra Nelle Lee Adams. They were married on May 30, 1961 and enjoyed 53 years together.
J.C. loved his job driving a truck for Safeway Stores and drove over 2 million miles without an accident. He was a proud member of the Local Teamsters Union 738.
He was a quiet Christian man who loved God and was a member of Little Rock First Church of the Nazarene .
Preceding his death were his parents and three sisters, Hazel Hardage, Barney Lou May and Kathleen Batchelor. He is survived by his wife Myra; sons Scott (Kay) and Robert (Dawn); 5 grandchildren, Abby, Daniel, Colin, Luke and Claire; two sisters, Mildred Smith and Mary Frances Carver; his only brother, Paul Adams as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. He will be extremely missed.
