BORGER
Funeral services will be held at 10
a.m. Saturday in the Wesley United
Methodist Church here for James
Crowell,Sr.,35,a former Odessa and
Lovington,N.M. resident from Borger.
Cowell died Thursday afternoon in
a hospital here following a lengthy
illness.Burial will be in the Pioneer
Cemetery in Graham under the direction
of the Minion Mortuary here.
He was born Aug.12,1938 in Washington,
Okla.,and had been living in Borger
since 1968.He was married to the former
Judy Scoggins of Monahans and he had
lived in Odessa 1958-1959.
Survivors include his wife,two sons,
James Cowell,Jr.,and Robert Cowell,
both of the home;one daughter,Candy
Cowell,also of the home;his mother,
mrs.Ann York of Pampa,and one brother,
Charles Cowell of Amarillo.
