SNELLINGS, Radie Jo' age 80, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2006. A native of Columbus, TX, she resided in Dayton many years. She was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church in San Antonio, TX, a member of the Beta Eta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, and a retired Dayton Public School Teacher after 49 years of service. Preceded in death by her parents, Samuel L. Turner & Lola V. Bias-Johnson, son, Kenneth Paul Gist, and brother, Robert L. Turner, she leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Jocelyn R. Gist, grandson, Justin Morgan Gist, ex-husband & friend, Claude Morgan Gist all of Dayton, sister-in-law, Emma Gist of Memphis, TN, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including special friends, Mr. & Mrs. York, Mr. & Mrs. Walker, Mr. & Mrs. Sherwood, Mrs. Scott & Mr. & Mrs. Rutledge. Funeral Service, 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 28, 2006 at the McLIN FUNERAL CHAPEL/NORTHERN HILLS, 2801 N. Gettysburg Avenue, with Pastor David R. Gilbert, Jr., officiating. Viewing 11:00 AM until time of service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Chapel. Interment will be held at the City Cemetery #3 in San Antonio, TX. Passed away Tuesday, age 80. Resided in Dayton, Ohio for many years.

Preceded in death by: parents, Samuel L. Turner & Lola V. Bias-Johnson; son Kenneth Paul Gist; brother Robert L. Turner.

Survivors: daughter Jocelyn R. Gist; sister-in-law Emma Gist; nieces, nephews.

Graveside Service were held Wednesday, February 1 at City Cemetery #3.

Arrangements: Lewis Funeral Home, 811 S. W.W. White Road.
