Mrs. Bonsignore was born in Lebanon, N.H., on Feb. 8, 1918, the daughter of the late Glenn and Flossie Manning Keeler. She was a graduate of Danbury High School, class of 1934, and had spent most of her life in Connecticut.
She had lived on White Birches Road in Branchville from the 1950s until the 1970s, and then moved to Danbury before moving to Bennington in 1990.
While in Connecticut, she had been a member of the Georgetown Bible Church, formerly Gilbert Memorial Congregational Church, and The American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. Bonsignore and Ignazio Bonsignore were married on Aug. 29, 1937 in Bedford Village, N.Y. He died in 1972.
She leaves her two sons, Fred and his wife, Jean Bonsignore, of Pownal, Vt., and Robert and his wife, Corrine Bonsignore, of Tucson, Ariz.; seven grandchildren, 13 great grandch-ldren, two great-great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Two brothers, Wayne and Wendall Keeler, died before her.
Friends may call at the Bouton Funeral Home, 31 West Church Street, Georgetown on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, Nov. 9, at noon at the family plot in Branchville Cemetery, Ridgefield.
