Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ellen Pearson, 79, who died Thursday at the Denton Hospital and Clinic after an illness of about six weeks, were held Saturday at 10 o'clock at First Christian Church, conducted by Rev. William S. Parish, pastor.
Interment was in Belew cemetery near Aubrey. Pallbearers were Bert Lovette, Fred Robertson of Fort Worth, Paul Robertson of Cleburne, Glenn Robertson, Eber Robertson, and Ralph Killingsworth.
A long-time resident of Denton and Denton county, Mrs. Pearson, who resided here at 229 W. Sycamore, is survived by a brother, William Robertson of Denton; three sisters, Mrs. G.W. Owens of Denton, Mrs. J.M. Louder and Mrs. A.S. Thomas of Denton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
