Gordon H. Williams
Died on Feb. 14, 2009 and resided in Westmoreland.

He was born April 22, 1934 in Utica a son of Hugh and Margaret Muthig Williams. He graduated from New York Mills High School in 1953. He was married to Alma Miner the "love of his life" in 1955 and reunited in 2006. Gordon was first employed in the Aerospace Program at General Electric. He then worked in real estate for 40 years, receiving his broker's license and operating Gordon Williams Real Estate in Westmoreland. He enjoyed his summer home at Verona Beach, antique cars and trips to Turning Stone and Vernon Downs.
Besides Alma, he leaves three daughters "his three Angels" and two sons-in-law, Sandy and George O'Dell Jr. of Whitesboro, Jeannie Williams and Kathy and Joe Paciello of Sauquoit; seven grandchildren, Marie, Eliesa and Carrie, Tommy and Cindy and Desiree and Joe and 14 great grandchildren. He also leaves a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Jimmy Heinrich of Chadwicks; his God Child, Darlene Cehfus of Rome; an aunt, Evelyn Semler of New York City; two cousins, Debbie Brooks and Stewart Williams and special friends, Rev. Ralph Fraats of New Hartford and Linda Williams of New Hartford.
The family especially appreciated the excellent medical care provided by family members Bill Straite, Lisa Thomas, Joe Paciello and Carrie Loubier and also Hospice. The family is also thankful for the special support of Heidi Williams, Mike Thomas and Ron Loubier.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 6 PM at the Dimbleby, Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral Home, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford with Pastor John Kelly and Rev. Ralph Fraats officiating. Interment will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 3-6 prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers friends may consider the American Cancer Society for the Utica Relay for Life or Hospice Care in his memory.
