Tammy Riddle, 46, of Carson Street, passed away at noon Monday at Takoma Regional Hospital after courageous battle with cancer. Miss Riddle was a 1986 graduate of Greeneville High School. She was an employee of Best Answering Service and was of the Baptist faith. Tammy was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, who loved her family and animals. She enjoyed photography, collecting ink pins, and genealogy. She was a serious Alabama football fan and NASCAR fan.
Survivors include her father: Philip Riddle; two sisters: Penny and Terry Collins and Robin Scott; one brother: David Cutshaw and Charlotte Robinette; one nephew: Shawn Cutshaw; one niece: Heather Brobeck; one great-niece: Sierra Brobeck; one great-nephew: Kendall Brobeck; aunts and uncles: Marie Myers, Wilma and Leonard Waddell, and Wayne "Runt" Riddle; very close friend whom she considered her 2nd mom: Tootie Sexton; special friends: Louise Jeffers, Lisa Sumrall, Linda Trantham, Carma Freeman, Katherine Pinkston, Carla Waddell, Debbie Bartley, Simone, Dana, and Danny Myers, Bobby and Delilah Myers and family, Bland Justis, Tim Mitchell, Melanie and friends of Best Answering Service, Candy and William Carr, Joann and Ken Carter and family, Robin Casteel, and many others.
She was preceded in death by her mother: Judy Riddle; one brother: Terry Cutshaw; grandparents: Paul Riddle, Josephine Riddle, and Dulcie and John Stanton; one aunt: Wanda Balvin; one uncle: Bob Allen.
The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Doughty-Stevens Chapel. The Rev. Eddie Malone and the Rev. Lynn Mercer will officiate. Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Active pallbearers will be David Cutshaw, Shawn Cutshaw, Bobby Myers, Ken Carter, David Peak, and Jerry Mitchell.
