Barbara married Lester Harlan Blessum in June 26 1938 in Rugby ND. They lived and farmed around the Rugby area. In 1949 They moved to town but continued farming until they retired in 1977. Lester passed away in 1995 and she moved into the Harold S Haaland Home in 1999 then to long-term care unit at the Heart of America Medical Center where she passed away. She had been the accompanist for "The singing farmers group " which Lester sang with. She loved reading.
Barbara is survived by her sons, Harlan (Lanny), Jermome (Jerry) and Joan Orvik from Bismarck, a brother, Warren Miller, Rugby, sister-in-law Dorothy Miller, 10 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, one Gr Gr Granddaughter and several Nieces and Nephews.
