David Alday, age 54, of Cypress, FL passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 in the Jackson Hospital.
David was born on September 20, 1959 in Cypress, Florida. He was a lifetime resident of Cypress and was of the Baptist faith. David was a self employed mechanic and was well known for his work. He enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Ryals Alday and six brothers.
David was survived by his mother Ruby Basford Alday, one son Chris Alday, three daughters Candace Lay (William), Carrie Alday (J.D. Martin) and Jessica Alday, one brother Carlos Alday and five grandchildren. David is also survived by his loving girlfriend Kathy Dickens.
Services for David will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Alvin Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the Cypress Cemetery in Grand Ridge. A time of remembrance will be held one hour prior to the service.
