Mrs. Elizabeth Flowers, wife of John Flowers, died at 1:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the family residence about four miles northeast of Decatur. She would have been thirty-two years old next April. Her death was caused by pneumonia, following influenza.
She was born near Cerro Gordo April 25, 1887. She and John Flowers were married about fourteen years ago. She is survived by her husband and three children, Maynard, aged thirteen, Wayne, aged four and Aileen aged three years. She also leaves her father Edward Moore of Cerro Gordo and the following brothers and sisters, Miss Pearl Moore, Cerro Gordo, Miss Elma Moore of Decatur, Mrs. Maude Snoke and Miss Edith Moore of Cerro Gordo, Russell, Orville Moore now serving in France and Everett Moore, who is in Iowa.
