Mary loved nature and animals. She was an avid gardener, growing both vegetables and flowers. She always had a large collection of bird feeders that she kept full, and would also put out peanuts for the chipmunks (or "chippers", as she called them). She could identify many birds by their call. She walked several miles a day, rain or shine. She loved her kitties, who were usually rescues.

Mary was a wonderful cook, and worked at Fontana's and Lorenzo's restaurants in Lockport. She was famous among family and friends for her special sweet-and-salty popcorn, the recipe for which was so secret that she would not make it when anyone else was in the house. She had also worked at her late brother Steve's flower shop.

Mary was predeceased by her father Bud, brothers Steve and Bill, and nephew Jake. Survived by her mother, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mary was a kind and generous soul. She was loved and will be missed by many.
