BOWMAN, Myrtle Milliner Brewer, of Crewe, died June 5, 2014. She was born April 15, 1938, a daughter of the late Charles Granville Milliner and Gertie Eldora Burcham Milliner. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Randolph Bowman; a brother, Robert Milliner; sisters, Evelyn Milliner and Dorothy Busch; and stepson, Leon Bowman. Surviving are two brothers, Granville Milliner (Lane) and Jesse Milliner; stepson, Justin Dale Bowman (Sue); three stepgrandchildren, four stepgreat-grandchildren and numerous family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Jetersville Baptist Church, 6440 Amelia Springs Rd., Jetersville, Va., with visitation one hour prior to the service, and interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice., Va. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Hospice of Virginia, Gwen Bibb and all her caregivers. Donations may be made to Jetersville Baptist Church or Nottoway County Emergency Squad, P.O. Box 453, Crewe, Va. 23930. Jennings-McMillian Funeral Home and Cremation Center, of Crewe, is assisting the family.
