Mrs. Gladys Beatrice Toalston, 52, of Rt. 1, Carrollton, died Tuesday evening at the home of her mother-in-law, Mrs. Olive Toalston, 463 Lincoln Ave. here, after an illness of five months. Born October 29, 1912, in Amsterdam, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Anna (Hamilton) Wilkins. Mrs. Toalston had lived in this vicinity 40 years and was a member of Carrollton Church of Christ.
She was married December 21, 1932, to Earl Toalston, who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Joanna) McConnell of North Industry; four sisters, Mrs. Florence Roberts of Carrollton, Mrs. Edna Ray of Minerva, Mrs. Clara Stine of Amsterdam and Mrs. Violet Hanna of Malvern, and one grandchild. A brother is deceased. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Allmon Funeral Home here with Rev. William A. Cook officiating. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery, Carrollton. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
