Lee died July 5 in Phoenix. Hewas born Feb. 3, 1986 in Chinle into the Red Running Into the Water People Clan for the Red House People Clan.
Lee graduated from Chinle High School in 2004. He attended Universal Technical Institute in Avondale where he was majoring in auto/diesel mechanics. He worked at Jiffy Lube in Peoria. His hobbies included playing basketball and rodeo.
Survivors include his parents, Marcello Lee of Cornfields and Barbara Begay of Chinle; brothers, Marcellus Lee, Manuel Lee, Myron Lee and Matthew Lee; sisters, Talouah Lee and Talia Lee; grandparents, Annie Marie Begay and Mable T. Pino.
Lee was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willis Begay Sr., and Walter B. Lee.
Pallbearers will be Manuel Lee, Fernando Begay, Willis Begay III, Willis Begay Jr., Leighton Garcia and Niguel Harvey.
The family will receive friends and family at the family residence, 1 mile north of the NPS Visitor Center in Chinle.
