Deadwood - Memorial Service for Alice L. Wilson, 81, Deadwood and formerly of Aberdeen, is 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2005, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Aberdeen. Pastors John Farden and Jais Tinglund officiating. Inurnment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen. Spitzer Funeral Home, 320 Sixth Ave. S.E., is in charge of arrangements.

Alice died Saturday, April 2, 2005, at Northern Hills General Hospital in Deadwood.

Alice was born March 4, 1924, at Hosmer, S.D., to Edward and Anna (Job) Albrecht. She grew up in the Leola-Wetonka area.

She married Richard Clinton Wilson in Aberdeen. They made their home in Wetonka for a short time before moving to Aberdeen. She worked at the Kresge Store and at Artz Camera Supply Store for many years.

She enjoyed gardening, traveling and playing cards. Alice was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Deadwood and was a charter member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Aberdeen, S.D.

Grateful for having shared her life are: her husband, Richard Wilson, Deadwood and formerly Aberdeen; son and daughter-in-law, Ron (Cassie) Wilson, Aberdeen, S.D.; her grandchildren, Greg (Michelle) Wilson, Joelle (Dale) Thone, Aberdeen, S.D., Mark Wilson, Fargo, N.D.; great-grandchildren, Josh, Ashley, Nathan, Tyler, Megan and Makayla; four brothers, Herbert Albrecht, Sturgis, S.D., Melvin (Vange) Albrecht, Deadwood, S.D., Paul (Helen) Albrecht, Grass Valley, Calif., and Thomas (Shirley) Albrecht, Finley, N.D.; three sisters, Martha (Milbert) Jerke, Aberdeen, S.D., AnnaMae (Harold) Bauer, Gettysburg, S.D., and Marcella Bonnet, Tempe, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Gertrude Kreitel, and three brothers, Milbert Albrecht, Albert Albrecht and Allen Albrecht.

The family prefers memorials to North Plains Hospice, 305 S. State St., Aberdeen, SD 57401.
