Anna (Albercht) Schlock, 101, of Ipswich and formerly of Leola, died Tuesday Sept. 30, at the Berverly Health care Center, Ipswich.

Her funeral was held Saturday, Oct. 4 at St. James Lutheran Church, Leola, with the Rev. Dianne Rood-Kiesz officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenmound Cemetery.

Anna Job was born Nov. 10, 1901, near Hosmer S.D., to Ludwig and Rosina (Kranzler) Job. As a child, the family moved to the Leola area where she attended school. As a young lady, she worked on the family farm until her marriage to Edward Albercht on Nov. 14, 1919, at Leola. They made their first home and farmed in the Hosmer area and later moved to the Leola area and farmed until 1946, when they moved into the city of Leola. Edward died Feb. 19, 1964, and Anna contnued to live in Leola. On Aug. 12, 1975, she married Christopher Schock at Leola where they continued to live. Christopher died Oct. 2, 1993.

Anna became a resident of the Beverly Health Care Center in lpswich on March 18, 1992, where she resided until her dealth.

She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Leola. She loved playing cards, especially Rook, sewing, gardening and she loved to sing. She loved her grandchildren.

Survivors include four sons, Herbert Albrecht of Stugis, Melvin "Lefty" (Vangie) Albrecht of Deadwood, Paul (Helen) Albercht of Grass Valley, Calif., and Tom (Shirley) Albercht of Finley, N.D.; four daughters, Alice (Richard) Wilson of Deadwood, Martha (Milbert) Jerke of Aberdeen, Annie (Harold) Bauer of Gettysburg, and Marcella Bonnet of Tempe, Ariz.; two stepsons, Elmer (Norma) Schock of Leola and LeRoy (Eileen) Schock of Leola; one sister, Emma Meyer of Rapid City; and 123 grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, three sons, one daughter and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
