Death of Abraham Shade.
Abraham Shade, a man about 60 or 65 years old, died Friday afternoon at the home of Rev. Abraham Miller, a Dunkard minister, in the vicinity of Aix. The cause of his death was a cancer on his face, and from which he had suffered greatly for a long time past. Previous to going to Mr. Miller's he had been an inmate of the county asylum from February to July 1904. He then united with the Dunkard church and ever since has been given a home and most kindly cared for by them. He also is given a respectable funeral at their expense.
He had a son killed by an accident on the Nelse Morris ranch nearly three years ago. The son left a widow and some childrren, but farther than them no living relatives are known of.
He was buried in the Dunkard cemetery in Barkley Township last Saturday afternoon, and funeral services were held for him at their church Sunday.
