William Shoop, aged 54 years, died at the home of his brother, Ira Shoop, of McGrann Friday evening at 5 o'clock after a three days illness of pneumonia. Deceased lived alone on the old homestead until several days ago when he went to reside with his brother. He is survived by four brothers, Ira Shoop, of McGrann; Harry Shoop, of Oakmont; John of McGrann; and Luther of California. Funeral services will be conducted at the residence Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by Rev. J. G. Langham. Interment in the Manor cemetery.

NOTE: Per the 1900 census he was born December 1866. However the baptism record for William & Harvey show they were both born Oct. 10 1867 & the 1870 & 1880 census show them as the same age.
