Martha Betty Alvis, age 92, of Cuyahoga Falls, went home to her Savior surrounded by her loving family and friends on Thursday, April 17, 2014.
Born in Carthage, TN. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to everyone who knew her. Betty enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing and was a strong woman of faith.
Preceded in death by her husbands Archie Jenkins and Clyde Alvis. Her sons Jim and George Jenkins.
Survived by her daughters Lillie (Woodrow) Story, Ruby (Hunt) McFarlane, Annette (Marshall) Hamric and Kay (John) Inch.
Loving grandmother of 22, 49 great grandchildren, 23 great great grandchildren and may beloved family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 23, 12noon at the CATAVOLOS FUNERAL HOME 3653 W.Market Street, Fairlawn,where the family will receive friends 10am until time of Service.
Interment Rose Hill Burial Park.
