Mary Helen Swinger, 77, died Feb. 28, 2003, at Missouri Southern Healthcare. Born Jan. 6, 1926, at Charter Oak, daughter of the late Arzie and Bertie Baldwin.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dexter and 53-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
On Aug. 22, 1942, she married Harry Swinger, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Gary Swinger of Memphis, TN; and David Swinger of Dexter, MO; two daughters, Diane Pruett of El Paso, TX; and Cynthia L. Burnett of Hurley, MO; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is Saturday at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. Services will be Sunday at the First United Methodist Church in Dexter with the Rev. Fred Leist officiating. Burial will follow.
