Burial will be in Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Freeman-Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center.
She died Sunday, March 26, 2000, at Hi-Plains Nursing Home in Hale Center.
She was born Sept. 11, 1909, in Drasco. She married Jim England on Sept. 28, 1938, in Runnels County. He died on April 23, 1959.
She moved to Hale Center in 1948, where they farmed for many years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed visiting shut-ins. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hale Center.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
