Son of Henry Riffle and Mary Wilson. Married Mary Boggs or Bogges on 20 Oct 1875 in Jackson County, West Virginia. They had four children. Civil War veteran, private in Company K, 9 West Virginia Infantry. Has government stone that was found underground and is in very bad shape (see photo). Stone appears to have been somewhat restored - thanks to some wonderful soul!

Note: there are currently two memorials for David Riffle. This one tells the story of his original government gravestone. The other shows his brand new stone. It is my opinion that, unless they can effectively be merged, they should both stand.David Riffle son of Henry Riffle and Mary Wilson. married Mary Boggs 20 Oct 1875 Jackson Co.
