Life and times of Rose....

Rozella "Rose" Ruth Barr married Darrell Gene Emigh at a young age and started a family with him. First born was a little girl she named Trina Sue....then came a sweet bundle they called Annette, their little boy and only boy came next, Willis (Bill) Austin Emigh.....at the end of their love trail was me the baby of the family ...Mom named me Darlene but for some reason it came back on my birth cetificate as Darline Ruth Emigh..lol a special spelling. Rose worked hard many years to keep us happy, she was a very devoted and hard worker when she set her mind to it. I always admired that in her. She seemed to always know what to and how to make things go smoother. She awlays had advice and knowledge to pass on to us.

Valley Dairy
Rose worked at the Valley Dairy Resturant in Indiana , Pa. for many years. She had so many friends there and regulars that came in day to day....she was loved by many there during those hard working years. She would come home with feet and back hurting, but she loved what she did and she loved the people who made it special to work there.

Later in life....
Rose work side by side with her husband Darrell. They started a vending business and had many machines spread through Indiana County. A small but nice business. Was fun to help Mom make the sandwiches up for the machines and tag along sometimes and watch them fill the coffee and cocoa machines...daddy always gave me a hot cocoa...it was nice times worth remembering :)
