Mrs. H. Van Bruggen Dead
Mrs. Henry Van Bruggen died at her home on the Giebink, farm three miles northeast of this village, between 7 and 8 o’clock Wednesday morning, April 17th. The cause of death was pneumonia complicated with heart trouble.
The deceased was born in Holland about 35 years ago and came to this country five years ago. She was married to her surviving husband three years ago, and their union was blest with two children, both living.
The funeral will take place Friday with brief services at the house at 12:30 and regular services at the Reformed church in this city at 2 p.m. Rev. Vander Schaaf, the pastor of the church officiating. The remains will be laid to rest in the cemetery on the L. M. Olson farm south of town. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the grief stricken husband.
