Helen Alberta Wolfe, 86, Independence, MO was called home to Heaven and reunited with her husband on Tuesday, May 20, 2014.

Alberta was born April 20, 1928 in Milan, MO the daughter of Sherman M. and Daisy G. (Yardley) Coin. She had worked for Stampers in Milan, MO and as a cafeteria server for Bridger Middle School in Independence School District. Alberta was a past member of the United Methodist Church in Milan. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and working outdoors in her garden, but most of all spending time with her family.

Alberta married Max Porter Wolfe on September 1, 1945. He preceded her in death on May 4, 1986. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Johnie Wolfe in 1946, James Wolfe in 1947, and Ronnie Wolfe in 1965; brothers, Joe, Bill, and Welsey Coin.

Survivors include her son, Randy Wolfe, Sr., and wife Della; Patricia Hennrich and husband Kevin; grandchildren, Randy Wolfe, Jr., wife Karen, Mark Wolfe, Affton Neilsen and husband Lorenzo, Abrah Sullivan and husband Patrick, and Addison Hennrich; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Dylan, and Kayla Wolfe; great great granddaughter, Ivy Peyton Marie Wolfe; brother, Edward Coin; and additional nieces, nephews, and family.

Visitation will be from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Asbury Cemetery, north of Milan, MO.
