Mrs. Olmstead was born Feb. 8, 1860, at Payne's Corners, the daughter of James and Eveline Hummason Stewart, where she spent her early life. In June, 1893, she was married to John Olmstead and lived in Conneaut until his death 10 years ago.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the home of Mrs. Moore and at 2:30 p.m. at the Marcy Funeral home here with rev. P.M. MacKay, pastor of the Baptist church officiating. Interment will be in the family lot in the City cemetery.

The headstone uses the spelling 'Olmsted', as does Louise's obit, but her husband's obit and a letter Louise sent my great grandmother use the spelling 'Olmsted.'
