She was one of 15 children born on October 18, 1911 to Jerome and Myrel Crawford in Decatur, MS.
She was a member of Eastlawn Methodist Church in Pascagoula and oldest member of Golden Age Club in Pascagoula. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed bird watching.
She is preceded in death by her two husbands, Howard Clearman and Voyd Smith; daughter, Annie Belle Barton; son, Howard R. Clearman and 13 siblings.
She is survived by her brother, Jack Crawford, New Orleans, LA; daughter, Sarah Bergeron, Bakersfield, CA; eight grandchildren, Mike Barton (Debbie), Annette Dykes (Johnny), Barry Cleaman (Cindy), Jon Clearman, Carie Clearman, Mark Bergeron, Farley Bergeron, and Vicky Bergeron; numerous great grandchildren, other family members and special friends.
Visitation will be Friday, May 16, 2014, 10:00-11:00am, at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula. Funeral Service will be at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Gene Vance officiating. Interment will be at Jackson County Memorial Park in Pascagoula.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pascagoula Senior Citizen Center.
