Terry Gordon "Sonny" Ricks, 76, Louisville, formerly of Cadiz, died at 9:30 am Sunday at St. Anthony Hospital, Louisville, following a massive heart attack.
Services will be at 2 pm Wednesday at Goodwin Funeral Home, with the Rev. Charles Rogers officiating, and burial in Trigg Memory Acres.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
A native of Trigg County, he was born July 9, 1914, son of the late Marcellus and Emma Cunningham Ricks. He was a retired salesman and a member of Eastern Parkway Baptist Church, Louisville, Cadiz Masonic Lodge No. 121, and Cadiz Shrine Club and Kosair Shrine Temple, Louisville.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline Terrell Ricks; three daughters, Carol Childress, Louisville, Rita Cobb, Shelbyville, and Susan Young, Evansville, Ind.; a brother, Robert M. Ricks, Dixon, Ill.; a sisters, Lillian Earl Gray, Cadiz; and nine grandchildren.
