Lavaughn M. Irwin, 74, New Castle, died Sunday at the home of her daughter, Anna May Waltmire of Kettering, Ohio. She had been ill for several months.
She was born in Wayne County and she had lived in New Castle since 1928. She was the widow of Forrest Irwin. She was a member of the Senior Citizens Center of New Castle.
Additional survivors include one sister, Ruth Bailey; and two brothers, Virgil and Donald Cook.
