Services for Leighton M Geyer, 94, of 11564 Pierce Road, who died at 3:45 am Wednesday in Elkhart General Hospital, will be at 10:30 am Saturday in Rieth, Rohrer, Ehret & Lienhart Funeral Home, Wakarusa. Burial will be in Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday and one hour before services Saturday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Wakarusa Public Library.

Mr Geyer was a farmer and worked at Brown & Brown Construction in Wakarusa for 17 years.

He was born Oct 7, 1901, in St Joseph County.

On June 10, 1941, he married Helen May Lechlitner. She survives with a daughter, Irene Geyer of Elkhart; two sons, James "Gene" of Baraboo, WI, and L Leon of Blacksburg, VA; four grandchildren; a sister, Edna Hunsberger of Nappanee; and a brother, Lloyd of Wakarusa.

He was a member of Madison Chapel.
