She was born Feb. 20, 1921 in Verona, PA the daughter of John Wesley Shearer and Annie Louise Hays Shearer, and had resided in Negley since 1972, coming from East Palestine.
Mrs. Boyles was a member of the Lake Mount Church of Christ near Rogers.
Her husband, Elmer F. Boyles, whom she married Sept. 17, 1937 died Aug. 27, 1970. She is survived by two sons and a daughter, a brother, John W. Shearer of East Palestine, two sisters, Mrs. Martha Miller and Mrs. Eva Widowfield, both of East Palestine; 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Nadene Vaughn, is deceased.
Services will be held at 1 PM Friday at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home with Douglas Barber, an elder of the church officiating. Burial will follow in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens, New Waterford. Calling hours are 7-8 today.
