Robert Niles Avery, son of Simeon & Lucy Avery, married, June 19, 1806 Mary (Polly) Hudson, daughter of Phineas & Margaret Hudson. She was born Sept 2, 1787. Robert was a sea captain, and later a farmer. He was killed by the caving in of a sand bank, June 10, 1814. His widow married his brother, Joseph Swan Avery. She died Feb 8, 1855.

Margaret Hudson Avery b. July 24, 1809
