Lavelle Elaine Bennett-Meier born July 2, 1959 from La Mesa, California, passed away in the back yard of a friend on her 43rd birthday. She fought so hard to stay clean but her last meth dose was too much for her fragile body since she had been clean for 6 months. This sweet woman would do anything for her friends, her smile light up a room.

She is preceded in death by her Mother, Elsie Elaine Johnson; Grandmother, Irene Pate Davis. She leaves behind four children: Aaron, Shauna, Dawn & Lon, sisters; Jetta Globe, Debbie Bennett and brothers; Laurice Bennett and Dale Beezley. She will be deeply missed.

Lavelle's father was only known as Kadio, who was in the Navy but don't know what happened to him.
