The husband of Esther Hootman, he was the father of Lena Robson, Ralph Hootman, Barbara Marzzarella, Ida Jean Barr, C.W. Hootman, Jr., Opal Darabant, Betty Ruth McCarthy, and Hugh P. Hootman; and the brother of Betty Neale and James and John Hootman.
Also surviving are 39 grandchildren and 73 great-grandchildren.
Friends were received in the Thomas and Little Funeral Home, Imperial, where services were held Wednesday at 1 p.m.
