DANSVILLE - Louise S. Scott, 82, passed away Friday, Sept. 27, 2002 at Noyes Memorial Hospital, Dansville.
Louise was born Feb. 13, 1920 in Dansville, a daughter of Arthur and Nina (Ackley) Rawleigh. Her husband, Randall Scott, predeceased her on Jan. 1, 1966. She was a retired baker at SUNY Geneseo. She also had worked many years at the Blum Shoe Factory in Dansville.

Louise was a past member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Dansville. She enjoyed crocheting and watching television, especially Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Cops and The Price is Right.

Louise is survived by five children: Mary Warner of Hornell, Margaret Ackley, Jim (Jean) Scott and Richard (Doris)Scott, all of Dansville, and George (Nancy) Scott of Perkinsville; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; three sisters: Ethel Roberts and Wilhelmenia Potter, both of Dansville and Leah Watson of Hornell; one brother, Floyd Rawleigh of Mt. Morris; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends called 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Monday at the Chamberlin-Baird Funeral Home, 73 Main St,, Dansville, where funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, with the Rev. G. Calvin Sheasley officiating. Burial was in Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville.
