Robertson Jr., Barnard Perdue, age 94, of Chattanooga passed away May 4, 2014.
He was born August 22, 1919 and raised in Woodstock, GA to the late Barnard Perdue Robertson Sr. and Jessie Kemp Robertson. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife L. Cleo Capley Robertson, two sisters and one daughter, Lillian Gayle Robertson.
Barnard was a driver for Greyhound Bus Lines for 17 years before entering the real estate arena. He formed B.P. Robertson Construction Co. and was a homebuilder for 50 years.
He was a member of Brainerd United Methodist Church for 60 years serving in his Sunday School Class Wesley Fellowship and as finance chairman for the church.
He is survived by daughter, Carol L. Robertson, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held at 3:30 PM Wednesday May 7, 2014 at Brainerd United Methodist Church in the McFerrin Chapel with Rev. Dennis Flaugher and Rev. John Habecker, officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to: Brainerd United Methodist Church building fund or Alzheimer's Association 7625 Hamilton Park Dr. Suite 22 Chattanooga, TN 37421.
