Mrs. John Stillabower of Kenney died Saturday at 4 pm. She is the former Alice Royse of Weldon, d/o Hiram and Ella Royse, former residents of Monticello.
She was 81 years of age and had been ill for a long time. She is the last of nine children of the Royse family. The funeral was held Tuesday and burial was in Weldon cemetery.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, Harvey E. Stillabower (1892-1961) of Warrensburg and Jesse Pearly Stillabower (1902-1986) (at home; three daughters: Mrs. Mary Smith, Warrensburg; Mrs. Frances Spainhour, Clinton; and Josie Florence Stillabower (1905-1990) at home.
Folks from Monticello attending the funeral were: M/M W. A. Doss; Mrs. Bessie Norris and son, Lynn; M/M Alva Royse; M/M John Doss and Mrs. Ethel Perkins.
