Obituary from the Edwardsville Intelligencer, Edwardsville, Madison County, Illinois, Tuesday, April 19, 1955, page 2:
  Elizabeth E. Fuhrmann, 89, former Edwardsville resident, died last Friday at 11:50 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Herbert E. Boyd in McLean, Va.  She had made her home with her daughter for the past 31 years.
  She was born in Edwardsville Jan. 1, 1866, a daughter of the late Frederick and Elizabeth Hanser. She was married to Philip J. Fuhrmann April 26, 1893 in Edwardsville. Mr. Fuhrmann preceded her in death on Dec. 1, 1922.
  Besides her daughter, Mrs. Boyd, Buena Vista avenue, McLean, Va., she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Fred (Emma) Heinrich and Mrs. Julia Rosipal, both of Edwardsville.
  Friends may call at the Weber funeral home after 7 p.m. Tuesday until the time of the funeral. Services will be held from the funeral home at 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. E.E. Stadge of the Immanuel Methodist church officiating.
  Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.

Pallbearers, all nephews of the deceased, were Edward Abenbrink, Harry McCune, Clarence Heinrich, Ferd Rohrkaste, Earl Hanser of Edwardsville and George Hanser of East St. Louis.
