Mary Louise Nelson born on March 14, 1925 went to be with the Lord on May 1, 2014.

Louise was known to most as Weezy or Lulu. She is survived by one brother, William Matthew Nelson and wife Cynthia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Lee Nelson; 2 brothers, Lawrence and LeeRoy; 2 sisters, Annabelle and Kathryn.

Louise graduated from McAllen High School, then Bible Way College in Clayton, Alabama and Dallas, Texas. She was a lifelong member of Faith Tabernacle Church then later Creedmoor Union Church. Her life revolved around her family and "Elvis Presley", everyone knew how strong her love was for both.

Louise never had children of her own, but many considered her their second mom. She was loved by all who knew her and was always there to help anyone. She has numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews, too many to name.

She was a native Austinite and proud of it. She retired from the Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners in February, 1991. She will be greatly missed by all.

The family will receive friends and family from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 3125 N. Lamar Blvd.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel on N. Lamar with Pastor Robert Wilhite of Creedmoor Union Church officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Hill Cemetery in Pflugerville.

Pallbearers will be Robert Earl Wood, Darrell Pryor, Michael Cole, Joey Sedqy, Steven Dinscore, and Jimmy Dinscore, Jr.
